Ron Dennis is no longer Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Team principal. We are the fans of McLaren and we would like to express our most sincere gratitude to Ron for his integrity, devotion to motorsport and passion for racing. His tremendous input in Formula 1 will remain as the finest example of true professionalism, his career is an inspiration to many others. We would like to wish Ron Dennis all the luck in his future projects. Thank you, Ron!

Thanks Ron, for all the memories which came as a result of your great job over all the years. Best of luck with the sportscars, hopefully you will race them one day too!

Ron, you took an ailing F1 team and turned it into a legend of the track (whilst having the sense of history to keep the name of its illustrious founder). Not only has that been great for McLaren but it has strengthened F1 (and Le Mans) considerably as well. For the expansion of McLaren into territory never previously considered by a team, for perfectionism, precision and even “Ronspeak”, you will be missed.
Good luck with McLaren Automotive – somehow I think the McLaren road car vision is in safe hands with you :)

Ron, F1 will never be the same again. Please come back and sort your old team out. In any case, many thanks for everything you did for F1 AND for giving the greatest driver of them all (Senna) the MP4/4
